Last Friday Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) was launched at Kolkata. In the speech of inauguration ceremony Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister AKM Shahjahan Kamal MP said that create a common platform to make the history, heritage, culture and beauty of South Asian countries into bring under one umbrella. Applying the South Asian Regional Cooperation Organization (SAARC) this region will be developed as a tourist hub for the international tourist. He also added that make easy visa processing system, Number of flight, trains and buses should be increased for the citizens of both India and Bangladesh to travel smoothly .
The ‘One Sundarban’ program will be implemented jointly to promote the mangrove forest internationally.
This is the 30th edition of this fair which is one of the biggest fairs in India. It includes 13 countries and 430 institutions from different states of India. Bangladesh Tourism Board, Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation and Dalton ZAHIR represented Welcome Bangladesh & World Vacation Club along with 15 tour operators are participating in the fair.
